Sunflowers to Sanity: I’m Back (and Baby’s Bringing 90s Style With Her)
I’m back—and yes, I brought a tiny co-host wearing a denim sunflower hat straight out of 1993. 🌻
While I was on maternity leave these past few months, my life has been full of feedings, fuzzy blankets, and just enough sleep to make coffee taste like magic. And today, I want to start by saying a heartfelt thank you—thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your continued support while I took this time to soak up every snuggly second of baby bliss. Katherine just turned 6 months old, and to mark the moment, she wore my very own 1993 denim sunflower hat. Seeing her in it felt like a full-circle moment—like she was carrying a little piece of my childhood into her own story. I shared the pics on Instagram, and let’s just say… she wears it with way more confidence than I ever did. 😍

Me? I’ve been surviving on cold coffee, cuddles, and 90s nostalgia. And you know what’s kept me fed through the fog? Oats Overnight. Seriously. With one hand holding a baby and the other trying to respond to messages, having breakfast basically ready to go has been a lifesaver.
If you haven’t tried them yet, I cannot recommend them enough—especially for my fellow burnt-out teachers, tutors, and parents running on fumes. They’re portable, protein-packed, and perfect for people who don’t have time to cook (so… all of us). I mix mine with premiere protein to tie me over even longer.
